Powdercoating!
Here at Firespeed we take our time to carefully prep the parts you send us to be coated. We will degrease, Sandblast, Outgas, coat and then finally bake your items. By doing these two extra steps that most common places will skip on, we can yield better results.
Why Powdercoat?
Powdercoating is a dry finishing process used on materials that can handle 500 degrees without problems.
The result is a finish that is tough, attractive and long lasting.
Quality of powder is another thing to consider when choosing a powdercoater, We have gone thru quite a few different suppliers for powder, and kept only the best.
We have different types of powders to achieve different finishes.
We have high temp paints for application on parts that can go up to 1000 Degrees.
We have Transparency powders which are sprayed over polished aluminum or Powdercoated Chrome basecoat to achieve a candy or anodized look.
If we do not have the color you are trying to achieve, please contact us and we can source it from our suppliers.
Here you can see the process of a Translucent Red.
